The Friends of Mine Festival has Landed!

After a year of top secret planning, and scouring the countryside surrounding Manchester we stumbled across what just might be the U.K's most beautiful Festival site; and it's just a 25 minute train trip from Piccadilly! We're going to have a massively eclectic range of artists on view, as well as stand-up comedy, poetry, spoken word (including a certain Mr. Nice!), amazing local food and drink, vintage markets, cinema, fairground rides, and too much more to mention.. and we'll be announcing more acts right up to the last week. Bring on May!

Tim Burgess (The Charlatans)

"It's such an honour and a really exciting prospect to be asked to curate a stage at the inaugural Friends of Mine Festival. The incredible Capesthorne Hall is only 20 minutes from The Charlatans studio and it has the makings of an amazing couple of days in the Cheshire countryside. It's a weekend near my birthday, so I wanted to have my friends over anyway - throw in a Jacobean mansion, a lake, 10,000 people, lots of the best bands in the world and it's close to perfection"
